Forestry mulching.

Brush to mulch. Topsoil stays. No burn pile.

The short version

One machine grinds standing brush where it stands and leaves the ground covered instead of scraped. Nothing to haul, nothing to burn.

The topsoil stays put

A mulcher cuts at the stem and leaves the root mat and the dirt alone. On blackland clay that matters, because once you scrape the topsoil off a tract you do not get it back and the next hard rain moves what is left.

No burn pile, no haul off

The brush becomes a mulch layer spread across the tract. There is no pile to sit through a burn ban, no dump fees, and no trucks in and out of your gate. If you want the material windrowed or hauled instead, say so and we scope it separately.

The mulch works for you

That layer holds moisture, shades out the seed bank, and knocks back the regrowth that would otherwise be waist high by next spring. It breaks down into the ground it came from.

Compact enough for tight ground

A compact track loader fits between trees you want to keep and through a standard gate. Oversized carriers cover more open ground faster, but they cannot thread a treed lot without taking out what you asked us to save.

Stems up to roughly eight inches go through comfortably. Bigger trunks get cut and handled separately, or left standing if you want them.
Next step

Good land. Clear possibilities.

Send photos of the brush and the gate, and tell us what you want the land to do. We come back with an approach and a day-rate ballpark.

The photos are the estimate

Send tract photos.

Brush, the gate, and anything you want kept. Add the town and rough acreage and we call you back with a day range and an approach.

  • We look at density, access and ground conditions.
  • You get a day-rate range, not a per-acre guess.
  • If it is not a job for our crew, we say so.
