The ground here

Hutto is classic Williamson County blackland: deep, dark, productive clay that was row-cropped for a century. Ground that stopped being farmed grows mesquite and huisache fast, and both come back from the stump if you only cut them.

We run out of Elgin and work roughly fifty miles out, so Hutto is a normal week for us. Call 512-905-0339 or send photos and we will tell you what your tract needs.

Mesquite comes back

On old Hutto farm ground, mulching buys you years. If you want the mesquite dead outright, grubbing is the honest answer and we will say so on the walk.

Wet clay, lost days

Blackland does not drain. Working it wet leaves ruts you will be fixing later, so we watch the forecast and reschedule rather than tear your tract up.

Fence lines everywhere

Most tracts here have an old ag fence in a thicket somewhere. Stripping the line is usually the cheapest useful thing we can add to a job.

What we bring

A compact track loader with mulcher and grapple, plus a mini excavator. That pair covers mulching, grubbing, pad work and pond grading, and it fits where oversized machines cannot go.

The photos are the estimate

Send tract photos.

Brush, the gate, and anything you want kept. Add the town and rough acreage and we call you back with a day range and an approach.

  • We look at density, access and ground conditions.
  • You get a day-rate range, not a per-acre guess.
  • If it is not a job for our crew, we say so.
