Land clearing in Bastrop.
Where the blackland ends and the pines start.

Bastrop is the Lost Pines: sandy, better-draining soil growing loblolly pine and yaupon instead of mesquite and clay. It works differently under a machine and it carries a fire history everybody here remembers.
We run out of Elgin and work roughly fifty miles out, so Bastrop is a normal week for us. Call 512-905-0339 or send photos and we will tell you what your tract needs.
Fire clearance is real here
Defensible space around structures is not theoretical in Bastrop County. Pulling ladder fuel and brush away from a house and a driveway is some of the most useful work we do.
Yaupon thickets
Yaupon grows dense enough to stop you walking. It mulches well but it is slow going, so dense stands run closer to a day an acre.
Sandy ground drains
Unlike blackland, Bastrop sand lets us work sooner after rain. When the west side is shut down for mud, this is often where we are.
What we bring
A compact track loader with mulcher and grapple, plus a mini excavator. That pair covers mulching, grubbing, pad work and pond grading, and it fits where oversized machines cannot go.
